Croatia Croatia has been recently 're-discovered' and is arguably the most beautiful cruising ground in the Mediterranean. There is an archipeligo of over 2000 islands, dotted with towns and cities steeped in history. Some suggest that it has some of the clearest water in the Mediterranean, superb for snorkelling and swimming. There are a wide range of sailing and motor yachts cruising in the warm favourable conditions that exist throughout most of the summer months. To add even more magic, some yachts embark or disembark in Venice.

Greece
Greece has always been tremendously popular for yacht charter. The combination of stunning historical sights, hundreds of islands with sandy beaches and a long warm summer are all hugely attractive to sailing and motor yachts alike. The choice of yachts is vast in size and budget so there should be something to suite everyone. There are three specific areas, the Ionian Sea including Corfu, Lefkas, Kefalonia and Zakinthos, the west Aegean with charters commencing in Athens and cruising the local islands and the east Aegean with Rhodes and Kos being the most popular destinations.

Turkey There is something very special about a country where East meets West. While it is a common cliche, everything from the skyline often dotted with minarets to the traditional Gulet motor sailors create a charm that is unique to this Mediterranean country. Clear water, stunning mountain backdrops and hidden coves are all on the typical Turkish itinerary. There are some fascinating archeological sites accessible close to the coast and of course many superb beaches often with a local restaurant serving up fresh fish and meat to offer an alternative to dining on board. A long summer means that chartering in June or September and even October can still mean warm water and sunshine every day.
